Mussoorie is a city in the Uttrakhand state of India, it is situated at about 35 km away from Dehra Doon . It is one of the favorite holiday destination in India . This hill station is at the foothills of Garhwal Himalayan range.


Mussoorie is also known as Queen of mountains. This city seems as a fairyland for the tourist . The wild life of this hill station adds to the hue and attraction to Mussorie’s beauty. Jhari Pani Fall is situated at a distance of about 8.5 kms away from Mussoorie. Is a beautiful fall . Bhatta Fall is at the Mussoorie Dehra Doon Road, situated 7 kms away from Mussoorie, this is an ideal place for picnic .


Kempti Fall at the Gangotri Road 15 kms away from Mussoorie at about a height of 4500 ft , this is an attractive fall , surrounded by moutains from all sides . This is the most beautiful waterfall of Mussoorie . Nag DevtacTemple situated at Cart Mackenzie road, this ancient Temple is situated at about 6 kms from Mussoorie. From here the beautiful and eye arresting view of Mussoorie as well as Doon valley can be seen. Mussoorie Lake is a picnic spot which is ideal for family picnics, here Padel boat is available.


Gun Hill is another attraction for tourist exploration , it is the second highest point of Mussoorie . Lake mist , Muncipal Gatden , Mossy Fall , Sir George Everest’s House , Happy Valley, Jwalaji Temple (Benog Hill) , Cloud End , Van Chetna Kendra are some other place of tourist attraction.


Food in Mussoorie is amazing , Tibetian oriental food is available here . Some famous food joints here are — Lovely omelet centre , Little Llama Cafe , Cafe Ivy , Kaisang Friend’s Cafe , Cafe By the Way . Mussoorie can be reached by road ways from Delhi and other cities comfortably . The nearest Railway Station here is Dehra Doon . The best time for visiting Mussoorie is mid-Mrach to mid-November for great nature experience .
